A Perfect World?

As the great Huey Lewis once sang:

Ain’t no livin’ in a perfect world.
There ain’t no perfect world anyway.
Ain’t no livin’ in a perfect world.
But we’ll keep on dreamin’ of livin’ in a perfect world.

That was back in 1988, and the accompanying music video is the equivalent of ‘woke environmentalism’ today. A similar sort of progressivism in simpler times. Huey was a huge deal in those days, and he became a ‘socially conscious’ rock star that wanted everybody to come together in peace. It’s an interesting look at two different worlds in two different eras. Neither of them perfect, but we’ll keep on dreaming as long as we can…
