Bring Us Together!

Have you ever wondered how our lives would be if everyone worked together for our own collective good? It’s something to aspire to, but we weren’t quite there yet so far here in 2021 (at least not on this timeline). The political climate was catastrophic, and the extended lockdowns were creating craziness. What do you think? Was the human race evolving towards excellence and enlightenment? Or were we devolving, and destined to the dustbin of history? I suppose we will find out eventually, meanwhile welcome to the greatest reality show in the galaxy!

Speaking of which, here is a ‘far-out’ Danish band known as ‘The Asteroids Galaxy Tour,’ playing this groovy little production called ‘Bring Us Together.’ The opening lyrical introduction almost sounds like poetry from a friendly extraterrestrial sharing its intergalactic wisdom with its earthling neighbors.

Magic happens
But only if you are open to the possibility
That what makes the earth go round
Is the same exact thing that makes us believe in each other
Whatever you might be feeling at a certain point in your life
It will always carry the potential
For something great happening in the moment immediately after
The fact that we all live our lives under the same sun
Can as I see it, in the end, only bring us together
