The country is in the midst of a crisis as it continues to divide itself into a two-tiered society. Those that are vaccinated against COVID, and those that are not (and refuse for whatever reason). Some places are attempting to implement a passport of sorts that grant special access to normal activities. Meanwhile, the noncompliant will face increasing restrictions. Interestingly, stand-up comedians have been forced to pick sides on this issue because different clubs have different rules. Some comics are even requiring their audience to show proof of their compliance with the controversial injections! No shots, no shows! However, other performers are promising that they will not abide by any draconian decrees. One of those comedians is Jim Breuer, and here is what he had to say about this testy topic:
Jim Breuer was also on Joe Rogan recently where they discussed the Coronavirus controversy. Joe has also gone on record to reject any overreaching rules on the health decisions of his audience.
Sadly, today also happens to be the day that comedic legend Norm MacDonald passed away. Apparently he was battling cancer secretly behind the scenes. I’m sorry to lump him in under all of this unrelated contentiousness, but I’m probably not going to cover it separately. However, he was also a comedian and deserves a mention as one of the greatest that ever lived. Gone too soon, rest in peace…
