When writer/singer David Byrne was asked about the title, he said; “I wanted to write a song that presented a resigned, even joyful look at doom.” Flash forward 37 years later, and those words still ring true today. Is our collective civilization on a road to nowhere? It sure seems like it does, but it’s best to enjoy the ride.
