Storming in Sri Lanka: Insurrection at the Presidential Palace!

One of the most notable observations of the 2020’s (so far) has been the abundance of protests that keep popping up all over the planet. It seems like every month a new country makes headlines after their people start pushing back against authoritative government. Many are over oppressive lockdowns, aggressive climate change policies or refusing to take experimental vaccines. One of the latest examples is from the country of Sri Lanka, a large island to the south of India. Their government decided to ban critical fertilizers that have led to a food and financial crisis.

Suddenly the government went bankrupt, the economy collapsed and the President resigned and fled the palace! Lucky for him, it was before the massive crowd of uninvited guests showed up for a special surprise party.
