Reasoning with Irrationals: Sour Sam & the Lost Leftists!

The title could make a great band name, but Sam Harris is not a musician. He is an alleged “progressive intellectual” that produces a podcast. Kind of like what I do, except we are not on the same page politically or philosophically. I’d like to offer him a chance to debate on the issues, but he will probably ignore me since he has a huge following and I do not. Sam Harris is a lost leftist who created a major controversy last week when he told everybody what he really thinks on the “Triggernometry“ broadcast. While it wasn’t his finest moment, it brought up an interesting question: can we reason with today’s irrational leftists? Or have they lost the plot of the story?
