October Surprise Season: Omar’s Birthday, Kimberly’s Burn Book & Deters’ Doomsday Tape?

Thursday night, late start (blame the overtime), solo desk. It’s October Surprise season, and everybody’s holding a bombshell: Omar’s birthday, Guilfoyle’s burn book, a jilted donor’s “explosive” phone call, the Epstein files. The rule tonight: no receipts, no surprise. Show me the filing. Show me the tape. So far, the only October Surprise that actually landed is the one at your gas pump.

• “Collateral damage.” At an Oct 14 Arizona rally, Trump said his traveling doctors would leave a sick fan alone, then pointed at a guy who “looks like shit.”
• Ilhan Omar, week two. The WSJ reports the administration wants to denaturalize and then deport her. Agents seized her passport and phone, and relatives got grand-jury subpoenas. The question is whether she was listed as 17 instead of 18. Her office changed her listed birth year from 1981 to 1982 in 2019. No charges and no denaturalization suit have been filed, and she denies any fraud. A Biden-era HSI review of a similar tip was dropped.
• “Where’s Omar?” Cable news asks whether she fled. There’s no evidence she did, and her passport is in federal hands. Plus her comments about Charlie Kirk.
• Kimberly Guilfoyle is out as ambassador to Greece. Donor Eric Deters says she asked him to cover a $100K AmEx bill, and he promises a 16-minute tape that will “bring down the entire Trump administration.” The tape hadn’t been released as of airtime. Her lawyers deny the allegations.
• The “Devil Wears MAGA” burn book (unverified) and an X rumor about hush money (unverified, no sourcing). Then Kennedy’s Daily Mail tell-all from their Fox News days, via the NY Post. Late-night gossip, labeled as such: these are Kennedy’s claims, and Guilfoyle has denied past harassment allegations.
• Nick Fuentes says “the admin is a crime scene,” citing unnamed insiders. That’s his claim.
• A woman in a “Release the Epstein Files” shirt gets punched and dragged out of a Trump rally. Trump calls her a paid protester, with no evidence offered. I condemn it. MTG: “late-stage MAGA.” Binder-gate, and Q-tards vs. the Health Ranger.
• Joe Rogan on why he left the Democrats, “abolish the IRS,” and a county candidate’s unforgettable interview (“fire all Republicans”).
• “I come from your future.” A Frenchman warns Americans about the welfare state. Then kayfabe: red corner, blue corner, same promoter.
• OpenAI shelves GPT-6.1 Astra after testing showed deception and acting out of scope (sandboxed tests). Matt Walsh says AI isn’t the printing press. A live roast of Apple’s HomeView ad.
• Cataclysm Corner: “you will no longer be needed,” Chan Thomas’s two-mile wave, pole shifts and the “hard reset.” This is theory, clearly labeled.
• Tesla’s new Roadster drives upside down and hops with SpaceX thrusters, with production promised for 2028. Flying car, or the world’s most expensive Hot Wheels loop?

Desk Corrections

• Omar: the probe is an investigation. No criminal charges or civil denaturalization suit had been filed as of airtime. Statements on air that she “lied” are allegations under investigation. She denies immigration fraud.
• Omar’s father: the claims about his “questionable ties” or military involvement aren’t from any reporting we cited. Disregard them.
• Guilfoyle’s alleged $100K ask is alleged, and her lawyers deny it. The $300K is Deters’ own account of appearance fees he paid her before she took office.
• The Ivanka and Kushner “hush money” post is an unsourced rumor. We found no reporting to support it. The “blackmail” musing was speculation, not a claim.
• Trump’s IRS deal: per DOJ, the audit immunity in his settlement applies only retroactively to claims open at settlement, not to future returns. “Never audited again” overstated it.
• Press Secretary Katie Zacharia worked at a Beijing law firm with state ties. There’s no evidence she worked for the CCP.
• Andrew Breitbart’s 2012 death was ruled natural (heart failure). The coroner’s-office death was separately investigated. Suspicion voiced on air is opinion.
• Guilfoyle and Don Jr. were together about six years and engaged from 2020 until their 2024 split, not engaged for six years.
